If cushions are starting to sag, use 1/4-inch thick plywood, foam and fabric to add some support. If your replacement windows are shining light on unsightly stains on the sofa, invest in an inexpensive couch cover in a neutral color and add colorful throw pillows.

Why does it always seem like all the lightbulbs in a room go out at the same time?
