Renewal by Andersen of Central Pennsylvania

Renewal by Andersen of Central PA is continuing to grow another branch of service to its growing replacement window and door business – and that is community service!

In partnership with Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation, Renewal by Andersen of Central PA will help grow the impact of this Harrisburg-based, local nonprofit through monthly volunteer events as well as monetary and in-kind donations during the course of 2016.

Over the years, Renewal by Andersen of Central PA has been a longtime supporter of many different local charities and nonprofits. But this year, we wanted to focus our charitable giving on building a deeper relationship with one organization in an effort to give back at a greater level than ever before.

After careful consideration, we selected Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation for this special partnership because its mission to improve the mental, social and emotional well-being of children and their families facing a cancer diagnosis closely aligns with the passion and interests of the Renewal by Andersen of Central PA staff. Simply put, we have a big heart for helping kids. Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation does amazing work to spread happiness to children who are dealt a tough hand at an early age and we want to be a part of helping to brighten their world!

Throughout the year, our staff will help organize “Bear-Able Gifts” that are delivered to children in the hospital, create care packages for Camp iHope campers, hand-write thank you notes, staff community events and much more. We plan to get our families involved too! We want to set a good example for our children by showing them the importance of getting involved in the community and helping out those in need.

One of the most exciting parts of this partnership is how Renewal by Andersen of Central PA plans to support Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation by donating a portion of its proceeds. A percentage of all sales for the months of June and September will be directly donated to Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation to help support important operating costs while raising awareness for the organization!

Renewal by Andersen is extremely excited about this partnership! We have an ambitious and exciting plan laid out for the year which will allow us to work closely together to share in the joy of helping our children and their families!
