About Me

James Pierce was born in Baltimore, MD on March 10, 1968. He was reared by a family that valued education as the vehicle for success. The emphasis on education was typical of families of southern heritage because of the segregation that existed and the inability to rise above certain stations in life if you were not “qualified.” Mr. Pierce was educated in the public schools and upon graduation from high school was accepted at Salem University as a youth and human services major. Upon graduation from Salem University, he began his professional career in the service field assisting individuals with developmental disabilities with Pathways, Inc. in Baltimore, MD. Upon leaving Pathways, Inc., James moved to Lansing, MI to accept a position with the Boy Scouts of America. His employment also included stints as a sales trainer with Enterprise Car Sales, Insurance Agent for 12 years, and as a State Parole Agent with the State of PA. James is a proud member of the Kappa Omega Chapter ofOmega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in Harrisburg, PA. James is the proud parents of two daughters, Jourdyn and Jaime Pierce and one German Shephard named Gunner.
